The Beauty Machine. A short documentary film by Bianca Stam

Bianca Stam is a commercial model and actress, best known for her role as Jing Jing in the movie Chasing the Dragon by Wang Jing, starring Donnie Yen and Andy Lau. Her interest in media and entertainment as well as women’s psychology lead her to producing her passion project, the documentary The Beauty Machine This is a documentary about 5 women and their personal experience as working women in the media/entertainment industry in Asia. One actress, a model, a photographer, a stylist, a designer and a makeup artist; we find their similarities, their differences and how their personal lives have been affected by being in the industry.
